Happy Mother’s Day
Happy Mother’s Day
We all know that without our mom’s we would not be here. Our mothers nourishand guide us, support us in our lives with whatever means they have. It is the same of all mothers in all the world regardless of culture or country.
Our work in Nepal has us working directly with mothers who are struggling, also because of the culture not yet favoring females sufficiently we work with mothers of the underdeveloped country in the Kavre District. We start with the poorest single women first. We know when we lift a woman, we lift her entire family as well as the village.
The Nepali mothers need help to have stability for their families. Our goat programs with micro-financing have helped the women since we began in 2003 along with many other programs we have presented them. Consider this, gift your mom a goat for Mother’s Day!
We request your help to lift over 45,000 villagers this Mothers Day. Want to be more involved? Do as you can. It all helps. Dedicate what you choose to your mom on Mother’s Day (or to her remembrance). Guaranteed, you will feel great helping those you will never meet to lift their lives.
A news announcement~The first of this year we brought on an energetic SOKA University freshman student, Emi. Emi is a 4.0 plus student all her years. She is on a scholarship which isn’t easy to secure at SOKA. After SOKA, she will continue forwardin Law for the Human Rights field. For R Star, Emi is handling weekly posts on several social media platforms without any prompting. Emi has broadened R Star’s visibility in the world which we are thankful for.
In April, the Nepalese celebrated their new year, 2081 to be exact, with great joy and fun which they do for about a week before and many days after the actual lunar calendar event. It is a vibrant tradition in Nepal including springtime color splashes, visiting friends and family, eating and rejoicing cheerfully to welcome the bright New Year.
A delightful and colorful Spring is wished for each of you. We are open to what is possible for you to lift our world.
Thank you,
Rosalind Russell, Founder of R Star Foundation
