Fall is Upon Us!!
Happy Dashain to all my friends in Nepal and in other places. May the renewal of everything in the season be rewarding and fulfilling. Happy New Year to our Jewish friends, Happy Rosh Hashanah
Fall is upon us…we have had a fine summer, or so I hope to be true for you. The holidays are rapidly arriving. I haven’t fully grasped the reality about how quickly the year has passed.

Many of you have reached out to me regarding the chaos that began recently in Nepal over a government ban of social media, followed by over 80 Gen Z and policemen being killed, over 1000 people wounded, with extreme damage to structure, I am sad to say. I offer you information regarding how R Star’s friends, family and villagers are doing along with the positive outlook for a strong government to grow like it is doing now. I am in contact with our friends and villagers daily, several times providing their Wi-Fi works.
Every person I know is fine other than being required adjust to lockdown, which will soon be lifted. For now, children are not attending school which will alter in a matter of days. Their safety is our concern. They are all safe!

The goats are ‘goating’ around well, unencumbered by the madness that was in place. Villagers are not allowed to leave their villages temporarily for the sake of safety. Travel is limited, including the airport being closed for several days.
Goat big or goat home—donate now
We have over 500 children a week using either a Tablet or computers we gifted for school use. The new electronics remain secured and ready to serve when school resumes. Technology is almost everyone’s favorite class.

Here are a few photos of our past state-of the art computer lab, and the village of 100 women who received goats, a way to create income by breeding and selling the ‘kids’, baby goats.

The Nepalis living in the USA that I know, have cancelled their trips to Nepal for the moment. Many organizations have suspended their work in Nepal. Not R Star! R Star continues to monitor our upcoming projects to lift those we serve rurally, about 45,000 people. It is R Star’s intention to donate goats, about 100, to 2 more villages as well as set up another school computer lab with by the end of the year. With stabilization, we will go forward. Delivery of the goats can be done without me present, (bahh), as so with setting up another school with new computers. Our Nepal team is watching everything well and are proceeding appropriately.

You are invited to touch in with us about our work and how things are in Nepal.
Thank you for your gifts to lift our poorest of villagers because of your generous hearts. We thrive because of you, and lives are changed with your support.
Happy Fall!
